Contemporary Geometric Tile Repro Santa Monica Brick Taylor Stair Risers 4
This tile is a reproduction of those made by Santa Monica Brick Co back in the 1920-1930's. Very fine workmanship with raised lines separating the multiple glaze colors, plus a combination of matte and glossy finishes. This listing is for ONE tile, but we have a total of 25 in this pattern. Can be used as stair risers - combine with our other 4 patterns (see photos-tile with yellow edge SOLD OUT). Other uses could be tile table, back splash or other installations. Or display one as a piece of art or hot plate. Each tile measures 5" sq x 1/2" thick. Slightly beveled edges and nice red clay. Never used. Great condition. Photos of installation taken from Norman Karlson's Encyclopedia of American Art Tiles, Region 6, page 270.
