The liquid dye colors kit from Keda Dye contains five (5) completely inter-mixable, highly concentrated, liquid dye colors making this a powerful, vibrant, and incredibly versatile wood coloring kit which offers deep color vibrancy and tremendous light fastness. - Each of the (5) 1 oz bottles will make 55-85 ounces of alcohol base base wood dye stains pending on wood type, prep sanding etc. Please see below for color break down to volume based on Maple as a Maple stain dye: Very easy to use. Just mix 1/4th - 1/2 tsp dye liquids (or Approximately 2 - 4 grams of the 30 included grams) into 6-8 ounces of acetone, denatured alcohol, or lacquer thinner, let rest for 30+ minutes, apply, (re-coat if desired) then seal. 2 grams divided 30 grams = 15 15x6 ounces (6 ounces acetone/Denatured alcohol etc) which means, 1 of the 5 liquid dye bottles can potentially make 90 ounces per alcohol dye color. 2 grams will make a good color concentrated mixture color, but we try to be very conservative in our description so we say each color will easily make 55 ounces for even dense wood.
