EZ-Strainer inserts are ideal for removing debris from vegetable oils, biodiesel, motor oil, paints, inks, adhesives, silicones, etc. The 5-gallon EZ-Strainer inserts are available in coarse, medium, fine, extra fine & ultra fine mesh. This allows a more coarse straining before fine straining, which helps the fluid pass through the strainer more quickly on the fine straining and less clogging. Pouring directly into a fine strainer often results in rapid clogging when the fluid is dirty. Cleaning these strainers is fairly simple. The nylon mesh cleans very easily. It can be scraped clean or washed clean with a garden hose/light pressure washer or using soapy water. These strainers are made to last through several washes/strainings and is why they are superior to filter bags in initial filtering of fuels. These strainers are made in the USA.
