Product HighlightsDuck Brand Window Kit Tape Double-Sided Replacement Tape is a double-sided adhesive tape used with indoor or outdoor Roll-On Window Kits or Shrink Film Window Kits.Can be used on painted wood, aluminum, vinyl and finished/varnished wood (it is not recommended for use on plaster, drywall/wallboard, unfinished or unvarnished wood though). It is designed to remove cleanly and easily when the season is over.Unwind the tape from the roll and apply the tape to the window frame (for best results apply to clean dry surface when the temperature is 40F or above). Then remove the liner from the tape. Measure the dimensions of the window and then add an extra 2 inches so as to completely cover the frame with the film. Then cut the film to that size.Press the film onto the tape at the top of the window frame, then press on to the sides and then to the bottom. Shrink the film with a hairdryer to remove wrinkles.Carrier/Backing: polyethylene (PE) film. Adhesive: rubber-based. Release Liner: paper. Thickness: 3.5 mils (carrier, adhesive). Adhesion: 48 ounces per inch (exposed side) / 64 ounces per inch (liner side). Tensile Strength: 12.5 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: up to 200F. Application Temperature: 39F to 250F. Elongation: 80%. Core: 1-1/2-inch diameter.
