Torquemaster Conversion To Torsion Spring Kit For Wayne Dalton 9600 Garage Door
This kit is for a Model 9600 Wayne Dalton. Size selected above. For heights not listed round up to the next foot. All 14, 15, 16 and 18 foot wide doors will come with two springs.**All kits now include basic instructions for installing your new conversion kit** This kit is specific for your door make, model and size. This is not a generic kit that uses the wrong type of cables and bolts that don't fit. Wayne Dalton doors use smaller brackets and mounts than most other brands. This is why you need a kit that is specific to your door. This kit is to convert your broken Torque Master spring system to an industry standard torsion system. This kit includes everything you will need except for the tube also referred to as the shaft. See notes below for more detailsIncluded are the following items.(1) Set of instructions(1 or 2) Standard 15,000 cycle spring. This spring is calculated for this door.(1) Pair of residential end bearing plates.(1) Residential center bearing spring mount.(1) Pair of standard residential drums.(1) Pair of standard residential cables.(1) Hardware bag (Includes all hardware needed for conversion).****Does not include tube shaft.**** We don't include the shaft since it would be cost prohibitive to ship. Tube needed will need to be 1' longer than the door is wide. Example a 9' wide door will need a 10' tube/shaft. Tube is standard 1" outside diameter steel tube, very thin wall such as .060", .083" or .090". This tube should cost less than $20.00 at any local metal supply or a local door company. If you are not sure what model of door you have we can help. The easiest way is on a 9100 model the inside will have a hard cardboard like backer. A 9600 will be the same metal on the inside and outside. Also feel free to send us a picture of the inside of the door and we can let you know as well.
