The Sky JH-TX558 wireless keypad also features a 2 minute time out function that stops the keypad from transmitting the signal after 3 incorrect entries are made as a security measure in case someone is randomly pressing codes trying to gain access. Since each channel is independently programmable you are not limited to the brand or types of remotes that it can copy from, as long as it is within the frequency range range of 280MHz to 870MHz and is not one of the few remotes it is not compatible with.
